Survival Kits: What do they contain?

Given below is the list of mandatory items that any all survival kits contain:

Food: All emergency essentials kits contain dried and non perishable food. These are highly nutritious and enable the survivors to sustain for long periods of time.

Water containers: At least two containers with a capacity of one liter each. Water gathering tips should also be included in the emergency essentials kit.

First aid kit: Standard issue that can take care of immediate medical needs, along with a user’s guide should be a part of survival kits. Care must be taken to replenish the medicines that are past the expiry date.

Lighting Items: Emergency essentials must include fire proof and wind proof matches, lighter, and compressed fuel. This should last for a few days.
Communication Equipment: A two way radio that is set to the rescue frequency along with a user’s guide. Other advanced equipments can also be included but a two way radio is the most easily operatable device.
